Morphid is a band that creates elektronic music that leans on techno and hiphop, but with an 'vrolijke kwinkslag'.

Morphid released their first EP named 'First visit' on the Lucid Recordings label in 1995, the second release was titled 'Mephisto' and was released in 1996. Later that year Lucid Recordings released a compilation album that included some previous released material.

In 2020 Lucid Recordings relaunched and did various re-releases of previous work, as well as releasing some of the live tracks recorded many years ago. Currently there is no new work being made.
